I am Alessandro P. Leonardi, attorney specializing in Italian Tax Law and Administrative Law, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Since 2004, I have assisted individuals, businesses, and public bodies with legal matters, both in litigation and consultancy.

As I mentioned, my primary expertise lies in Tax Law—including individual and corporate taxation, VAT, indirect taxes, and tax litigation—and Administrative Law, with a focus on public sector affairs such as urban planning, building regulations, cultural heritage protection, public procurement, and eminent domain.

I also serve as legal expert and of counsel for the Metropolitan City of Catania.

Additionally, I am actively building expertise in Art Law.

In addition to my legal practice, I have been a Teacher of Law and Economics in Italian state high schools since 2015, combining my professional experience with teaching the next generation of legal and economic minds.

Thanks to my Ph.D. and my extensive experience, I also specialize in Policy Design and Systems Thinking. These approaches craft effective, sustainable policies by addressing root causes and system interconnections, offering strategic advantages like innovative solutions, risk anticipation, and long-term impact for clients’ evolving needs.

My approach thus goes beyond traditional legal work—I am passionate about soft skills such as negotiation, building partnerships, and promoting diplomacy in legal matters. I believe in the power of proactive problem-solving, especially when dealing with government entities or private clients.

This is why I created and constantly apply my Triskeles Method©, a holistic vision that combines my three main dimensions, namely Legal, Educational and Policy Design, in a single proactive and resolving approach to the most complex cases.

My experience as an Advisor in international relations and Cultural Diplomacy further enriches my perspective, particularly regarding the protection of Cultural Identity and the role of cities, local governments, and regional communities on the global stage.

I created the strategic action plan "Triskeles" in 2014, a complex cultural and civic diplomacy model for reshaping Sicily’s place brand and its collective perception abroad. From 2014 to 2020, I also served as Senior Policy Officer for Cultural Diplomacy (external contractor) for companies and Culture&Arts key actors in St. Petersburg (RU) and Vienna, developing policies fostering cultural ties between Sicily and foreign Countries.
